The director has said the game has at least 50 bosses. Each portrait opens that boss’s entry: where its names come from, where it was shown and the attacks seen so far.

Four to start with

  • Mó Yuan Leader of the Bastion of Mó and a hidden boss. Both names are official.
  • Chief Disciple of the Seven Stars He leads six other warriors in the 2025 demo. Both names are official: the game’s own name plates, in English and in Chinese.
  • Huangxing The area boss of the 2024 demo. Chinese name likely, our match.

What is kungfupunk?

Kungfupunk, often written “kung fu punk”, is S-GAME’s own name for the style of Phantom Blade Zero: in the studio’s words, a world “where traditional Kungfu collides with steampunk machinery and body modification”.

Open world, multiplayer or Xbox?

No on all three at launch. Phantom Blade Zero is not an open world game but eight hand-painted maps joined into one world; its store pages list it as single-player only; and on 29 October 2026 it comes to PS5 and PC only, with other consoles held back for at least 12 months.
